As far as thanks goes, the main "thankee" should be Irene Young and her Sara Inspiration Therapy for making it possible to run separate beginner sections by sponsoring the rosettes. Also thanks to the judges and the writers, without whom we couldn't run, and to Cathy for doing a dozen different jobs today!
Congratulations to all the class winners who I know have worked really hard over the winter to improve their performances, with some spectacular results. It's so nice to see people making progress, and so many "new starts" coming forward to have a go.

Ayr Riding Club Committee and members are greatly indebted to Thelma Black for the sterling work in producing such an excellent and varied schedule at the Dressage Show to-day. I was delighted to meet people who had never done a dressage test before, and share with them the pleasure, also to see our members improving and gaining confidence. There is obviously a demand for this type of day by our members and the novice riding community beyond, I hope we will be able to do this again.
Congratulations to everyone who competed today and to the rosette winners well done!
I hope to see many of you at the Arena Event on 18th March at Rowallan.
