"The Scottish Equestrian Association (SEA) is disappointed to learn that British Horse Society has seen fit to withdraw from the important work that SEA is doing.

As the Governing Body of Equestrian Sport in Scotland and the umbrella body for all equestrian activities in Scotland, SEA is the only organization that represents ALL equestrian interests and activities in Scotland.

SEA has achieved a great deal and will continue to deliver benefits to its members and the wider equestrian community. Some of these achievements have been with the active support of BHS Scotland and we thank them for their past efforts on SEA's behalf. We hope that the Society continues to flourish and be successful in its main aims: safety, welfare, training and access.

SEA's wider remit will continue to develop with the support of its many member bodies."
