Press Release in response from Scottish Riding Clubs Commitee

In response to Annella Cowan, Chairperson of Scottish Committee of BHS press release 18/4/05 advising BHS and BRC (SRC) withdrawal from Scottish Equestrian Association Ltd. (SEA). Scottish Riding Club Committee wish to advise their members in Riding Clubs throughout Scotland that at no time have we been involved in the democratic process leading to this decision.   With 4,600 Scottish Riding Club members compared to 4,000 BHS Scotland members, Scottish Riding Clubs should have been involved in this discussion. As Scottish Riding Clubs Committee, Area Representatives or Area Chairpersons have received NO communication from either BRC Stoneleigh or BHS Scotland we conclude this to be an unsatisfactory way to conduct democratic business in the 21st century.
