What to wear? - Branch Activities

This is a rough guide to what we expect of members at non-competitive activities, such as rallies.

Rider

Schooling sessions and rides out are generally "informal".

We expect riders to dress tidly as instructors should be given a certain amount of respect, but do not expect to see you in more formal dress, but the riding club compulsory rules must be followed.

  • A good example of what to wear would be:
    • a polo shirt and/or sweat shirt
    • jodhpurs
    • safe footwear for riding, preferably jodphur boots or riding boots.
  • But please remember to dress for the weather conditions!

Horse

  1. Preferably clean and tidy!
