A revolution in cold and heat therapy is upon us. A brand new method of administering cold and heat therapy to athletes and horses has been developed. Never before in the UK or anywhere else in the world has there been a machine that provides continuous and programmable cold or heat therapy combined with a massage function for the repair and general maintenance of athletes and sports horse's legs and many other areas.

Zamar units operate in a similar way to a refrigeration unit but have the capacity to heat as well as cool the area being treated. There is no need to add ice or water to this treatment system. Equine and Sports hot/cold therapy units with their advanced programmable heating and cooling temperature treatment comes from an air condensed refrigeration unit with a specially adapted circulation system. A liquid called Glycol is pumped down PVC hoses into treatment pads that are held inside Velcro fastening Wraps that are applied to the area to be treated. The Equine machines have safety connectors fitted and if the horse moves away the Wraps are instantly disconnected.

There has been much research in recent times about sports injury therapy, sports hot / cold therapy & equine ice therapy and the results that are achieved by it.

Zamar Equine units are used for specific injuries and for the general maintenance of the leg. UK Polo professional Martin Glue-Cowdray Park Polo said when asked, "it is equine ice therapy at the touch of a button and something that no competition stable should be without".

The Zamar sports hot/cold therapy units are currently playing a major role in rehabilitation programmes, when dealing with acute sports injuries. Desperately seekin Corale!

I am desperately trying to trace my old mare that I sold in April 2004. I have known of her whereabouts up until recently, she was kept in Ayrshire, at Muirmill and then at a small yard between Mauchline and Tarbolten. I heard she had been loaned as a companion to the Richmond, Surrey area?? possibly only in the last few months. I think she was sold as having a back injury, as she had not been ridden in a long time.
Her name is Corale, when I had her she was registered BSJA under the name Loudoun Unique but I don't think she has ever jumped since I sold her. I do know that her stable name has never been changed from Corale, inless her current owner / loaner has changed it.
She is a beautiful 16.3hh TB mare, very bright bay in summer and darker in winter. She has a small star on her forehead and no other white, with very striking black points. She has typical TB feet and one of her front feet is flatter than the other, you can see this quite significantly when she needs shod. She has impeccable manners and is very sweet, a true lady, at least she was when I sold her. She is well bred however no one will be aware of her breeding as I still have her original weatherbys passport. She was the old fashioned TB type, and when in work was quite chunky, as far as TB's go!
One of her more distinguishing features is that she has really big ears, when she pricks them she looks surprised and very cute, and wasn't too keen on getting them touched, especially her left one. Her date of birth is 16th March 1994, so she will be 16yrs old on her birthday. However, as I have her passport I have no idea what age she is being classed as just now, she could be being passed as younger. I can't put any photos on just now but I can email them to anyone that thinks they might know her or her whereabouts. I do have more information that I will share with anyone that contacts me, although I'd rather not detail it in this advert. I got her when she was 2yrs old and only sold her because I thought it was in her best interets, I wish I hadn't, although she has never been badly treated, I am sure she is healthy and well looked after. I do know her full history up until she was 10yrs old.
I don't know where her owner is just now, Newton Mearns area I think. I would love to speak to her regarding Corale but I have no way of contacting her. I am desperate to find her! So if her owner, or anyone who knows anything about her whereabouts, is reading this please get in touch!! I would love to buy her back and provide her with a place to grow old but more than anything I just want to know if she is ok.

A very well looked after GFS 17½" “Pro Event” saddle in black leather medium width gullet. This is a really great saddle and a genuine sale. Great condition with no repairs. There is a rub mark on each side where the stirrup leathers rub but really does not detract from the quality of the saddle and cannot be seen once the leathers are in place. New it costs £925. She loves being fussed over and doesn't need ridden every day. She is fantastic in heavy traffic, alone or in company, a total confidence giver! She is very low maintenance, excellent with farrier, clipping, box etc. She was broken to drive but hasn't for at least 5 years.
